Ans:No i have a lcd monitor. I know nothing about it.It is of AOC and i am using it at 1280*720resolution.

7. Which components you DON'T want to buy or which components you already have and plan on reusing?
Ans:monitor, i have a 320 gb sata hard disk but it is 2.5 years old(may go off any minute),will be using it with another something, keyboard, mouse, ups, optical drive

8. When are you planning to buy the system?
Ans:1 month max.

9. Have you ever built a desktop before or will this be done by an assembler?
Ans:assembler

10. Where do you live? Are you buying locally? Are you open to buying stuff from online shops if you don't get locally?
Ans: Bhubaneswar. .Mostly from flipkart or locally

11. Anything else which you would like to say?
Ans:My current rig
Operating System: Windows 7 Ultimate 32-bit (6.1, Build 7600) (7600.win7_rtm.090713-1255)
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU E4500 @ 2.20GHz (2 CPUs), ~2.2GHz
Ram: umax 2gb (not sure about mhz)
GPU :HD 4350 1gb(useless now i guess most games wont run...)
smps: Default hcl smps (My rig was ORIGINALLY HCL. Now only smps and cabinet are HCL.)(2.5 years old)
Motherboard : asrock g41 motherboard (HCL one went off at 1.5 years)
cabinet: Default hcl cabinet(2.5 years old)

Here is what i have thought of.....

Intel i3 3220 =Rs. 7144(i suppose it is good)
OCZ Agility 3 60 GB SSD Internal Hard Drive (AGT3-25SAT3-60G) =Rs.4000(For faster boot)
MSI ZH77A-G41 Motherboard = Rs.5880 [for sata 6gb/s headers)
CM Elite 431+ Mid Tower Cabinet =Rs.3812(for 3.0 ports)
CCorsair Vengeance DDR3 4 GB (1 x 4 GB) PC RAM (CMZ4GX3M1A1600C9) =Rs.1455
WD Caviar green 1TB =Rs.4300(6gb/s)

Will sell my existing pc = -Rs.5000 (i hope...)

Total Rs.23000(approx.)
Am thinking not to buy a GPU for now will add one in 6 months.....(i think intel hd graphics can play games at low settings with playable fps)
Will buy psu at that time too.

pls suggest any changes and alternative amd configuration (within similar price range)

Thank you ppl.

At your budget, remove the SSD, it is not required and concentrate on main components. SSD can be added anytime and you should get a 120GB SSD.

Core i3 3220 @ 7.1K
Gigabyte GA-B75M-D2H @ 4.2K
Corsair Vengeance 1600 MHz 8GB X 1 CL9 DDR3 @ 2.7K
NZXT Source 210 Elite (1 Front USB 3.0 port) @ 2.6K (NZXT Source 210 Elite White Steel with painted interior ATX Mid Tower Computer Case w/ Black Front Trim)
WD Caviar Green 1TB with 64 MB Cache @ 4.2K
Corsair VS450 PSU @ 2.2K
Zotac GTX 650 Ti 1GB GDDR5 @ 10.7K

Total: 33.75K

Thanks

But isint H77 better than B75??

also this MSI ZH77A-G41 Motherboard - MSI: Flipkart.com

has 2 SATA 6 Gb/s Headers (would be useful for ssd) and supports higher frequency ram..... so maybe this is better.

For gpu i was thinking on saving from budget now and buying a 660ti later...

will leave the ssd now but will need a good mobo to support it later.

rest all good

For i3, B75 is more than enough. H77 is recommended for the higher end Quad core Intel CPUs which haave higher turbo speed. HT enables processors like i7 2600 or i7 3770, consumes high power when they use their full turbo speed and jump to higher speed. So for handling them, we need a good motherboard with better VRM design. On the other hand, i3 3220's power consumption is pretty less and can be easily handled by the B75 based motherboard with decent build quality.

Gigabyte GA-B75M-D3H Motherboard - Gigabyte: Flipkart.com

But this has only 1 gb/s header

WD Caviar Green 1 TB Desktop Internal Hard Drive (WD10EARX) - WD: Flipkart.com

this shall use 1 gb/s header..so how can i connect a ssd later??

also maybe could you suggest and apu configuration??I feel i would not like 560ti and would add a better card in 6-8 months...

Connect the Hard Dsik in normal SATA II 3 Gbps header. HDD can't even utilize the maximum bandwidth of SATA II interface and SATA III HDD...you can consider them more or less gimmick.
I have suggested you GTX 650 Ti, not 560 Ti. Now, if you're planning for a more powerful GPU in future then no point to gor APU. Better stick with the i3 3220.

Dragon...Dragon...Dragon.
So even if it supports 6gb/s it wont do much good??Then i will go with b75. Thanks for clarifying...

and sorry about gpu ....

i was thinking apu so that i could play some games now.....or is intel hd graphics enough??

also i dont want 650 as i may upgrade monitor in future (1 year later maybe)

so here is how i will buy....

1.processor and other parts now....
Core i3 3220 @ 7.1K
Gigabyte GA-B75M-D2H @ 4.2K
Corsair Vengeance 1600 MHz 8GB X 1 CL9 DDR3 @ 2.7K (Was think to go with 4 gb and save 1.5 k)
NZXT Source 210 Elite (1 Front USB 3.0 port) @ 2.6K (NZXT Source 210 Elite White Steel with painted interior ATX Mid Tower Computer Case w/ Black Front Trim)
WD Caviar Green 1TB with 64 MB Cache @ 4.2K
Total=15,000 Approx.
(- Rs.5,000 [current rig])
or equivalent apu rig. And i will use my old hcl smps that is still working..

2.Gpu next with required smps

Something like 7950hd or 660ti after 6-8 months[at the earliest]( i will save 10,000 now and add 10.000 more )

3.Better Monitor in 12-14 months

i think monitor will require a better gpu later so i want to buy it later so that i can give it more money.

but i wont want not to be able to play some games even in lowest settings or play with non-playable fps now....

so please suggest.

Well HD 2500 is not good enough to play games but the APU based configuration will be based on AMD A10-5800K and will be little costlier.

Config will be:
AMD A10-5800K (comes with HD 7660D Graphics) @ 8.4K
Asus F2A85-M-LE @ 5.7K

Rest will be same.

so this

AMD A10-5800K (comes with HD 7660D Graphics) @ 8.4K
Asus F2A85-M-LE @ 5.7K
Corsair Vengeance 1600 MHz 8GB X 1 CL9 DDR3 @ 2.7K (Was think to go with 4 gb and save 1.5 k)
NZXT Source 210 Elite (1 Front USB 3.0 port) @ 2.6K (NZXT Source 210 Elite White Steel with painted interior ATX Mid Tower Computer Case w/ Black Front Trim)
WD Caviar Green 1TB with 64 MB Cache @ 4.2K

total=Rs.18,000 approx.(after -5000)

also should i buy a new smps now or hcl smps would do??

of course no oc and any experiments....

also what is meant by VFM??(guess it is short for value for money [dont laugh])

You should get a new SMPS as your old generic SMPS is not up to the mark for the new rig. Also you are planning to add a powerful GPU later and for that reason, opt for Corsair CX 430 V2 @ 2.6K

Cilus

If you are planning for 660 Ti or HD 7950 then better get a little more powerful SMPS like Seasonic SII12 530, around 4.3K.

Thanks (foolish me)

So Rig is
AMD A10-5800K (comes with HD 7660D Graphics) @ 8.4K

WD Caviar Green 1TB with 64 MB Cache @ 4.2K
corsair gs600 psu 4.4K

Total = 22.4k

Will add a gpu and ssd later....

I just realized that i am back at my original expenditure without the ssd and with a gpu:-D
