Password Woes in windows

My PC has the following problem -

I am not able to change the administrator password, inspite of logging in as administrator. I am allowed to login as administrator, but if i try to change my password via Start>Control Panel>User Accounts i get an error "Windows cannot change the password"

Again da Windows shows the error "Windows cannot remove the password" if i try to remove the windows password.

Plz help.

Try changing it by entering CONTROL USERPASSWORDS2 in run dialog from a administrator privileged account. Or use Ultimate Boot CD to change it
