outlook express

I have got a new net connection from Reliance.When i asked how to configure outlook express,they said that first i should create a new mail id in reliance wedsite ,but if i want to configure my outlook express with my yahoo mail id ,is it possible.

You can configure OE to download and send messages using any pop/imap enabled email account. You get free pop access with yahoo india account but not with .com . Gmail offers free pop and IMAP on all accounts

True! Gmail gives it for free... but i don't think you should do this waste of bandwidth... gmail is too fast and handles all your mails very efficiently.

Use gmail instead otherwise it will download all mails from gmal server...

^^No its not the case. You can ask it to give pop access for only those mails which arrive after you activate pop access under settings

ok but though it will eat more bandwidth then your gmail, isn't it?
i suggest to use gmail...manages all things in well.

You can say so for downloading all the messages existing in the person's account but if someone wants to use it for the messages that arrive now onwards, it consumes less bandwidth. You don't have to open Gmail site, see text ads. It would work faster for even those having dialups
