After all the fun they made of Microsoft over the delays of Windows Vista, it is amazing that they even had the guts to post this on their website. I suppose Microsoft engineers must be having a hard time controlling their laughter now.

I've said it before -- Micro$oft released Vista because they had to. They compromised a lot of features to release when they did. Still Vista is pretty buggy. OSX, Tiger, on the other hand does not have the security problems that plague Windows XP. This is the first delay of Leopard. While it may be somewhat disappointing to wait until October, it's better than a really buggy upgrade. And that is absolutely shameful on Apple's part. They screwed up. I am not ready to believe in absolute bullshit that Apple does not have enough resources to concentrate on two projects at once. It is so frustrating.

Absolutely. Leopard currently has a long list of bugs (see *www.appleinsider.com/articles/07/04/12/apples_leopard_still_plagued_by_lengthy_bug_list.html). If Apple would release a buggy OS, it would be worse than not releasing the OS itself.Yes. It could be something else. May be they don't want to release both at the same time. or maybe there are some bugs in Leopard. May be they are adding something more.
Most Macs come with the Apple Remote and the Front Row software. That uses InfraRed. But bluetooth and wifi are built-in on macs too.Hmm, remote controling Macs, it is so far just a rumar. Having a patent does not mean this exect use.

Yup. Apple really needs to bring the iPhone on time. If Apple fails, it will receive criticisms from everywhere, and may not be a much successful product even though of such hype (perhaps like the PS3 -- selling like cake at the beginning, and later, the sales going slow as hell.)I guess Apple needs to pull out the iPhone fast, before competitors get there and its novelty lost.
Yes, I too agree that OS X is still the best OS.Leopard on the other hand improves upon Tiger, which still holds the title of "the best OS" (According to me) so they don't neeeed to put leopard before the iPhone.
Uh.. that would be nothing new. I used my W550i as a remote control for Mac OS X all the time. The feature is already built into Tiger.pathiks said:oh awesome.. Remote controlling macs.. Ll it be thru bt or gprs?? Or thru ir..? Like the iremotes
