i m using win_xp_pro_sp2
i m the administrator, cd/dvd drive is not shown in explorer
please help me'

first: Dont mention your E-mail ID.
second:Make sure CD/drive cable+power cable is properly pluged..

Also..do this:
start-->right click my computer-->>properties-->>hardware-->>device manager

Do you see DVD/CD-ROM drive..or any thing with ??? or !!! mark

is it detected in bios??, if then reattach it in a different mode [ie master/slave nd primary/secondary etc]. Or there is chance the drive is not workin properly.
