1. What is the purpose of the computer? What all applications and games are you going to run? (Stupid answers like 'gaming' or 'office work' will not work. Be exact. Which games? Which applications? Avoid the word 'et cetera.')
Ans: Movies, Games like CS:GO, Dota 2. Applications like Photoshop, Corel Draw.

2. What is your overall budget? If you can extend a bit for a more balanced configuration, then mention this too.
Ans: 20k-25k

3. Planning to overclock?
Ans:NO

4. Which Operating System are you planning to use?
Ans:Windows 7

5. How much hard drive space is needed?
Ans: Nil. Already have a 250gb internal. and 640+1tb external. Will buy internal later.

6. Do you want to buy a monitor? If yes, please mention which screen size and resolution do you want. If you already have a monitor and want to reuse it, again mention the size and resolution of monitor you have.
Ans: ALready have a monitor. Resolution is 1280*800 :p

7. Which components you DON'T want to buy or which components you already have and plan on reusing?
Ans: PSU- Seasonic 520ii, wipro Keyboard, Logitech g400s, GPU- zotac gt240

8. When are you planning to buy the system?
Ans: NOW

9. Have you ever built a desktop before or will this be done by an assembler?
Ans:Will be done by me.

10. Where do you live? Are you buying locally? Are you open to buying stuff from online shops if you don't get locally?
Ans:I will buy online. Local shops are not reliable.

11. Anything else which you would like to say?
Ans: It should have integrated graphics. If my card fails I still should be able to run the system.
Is a cpu cooler necessary? If possible I would like to include one in this budget.

You may get a decent 4th gen Core i5 processor like i5 4570 and a H87 mobo and a 4 GB RAM in that budget.
But I will leave the exact config for pros.

I have the same MSI G43 mobo. It's good. Have two PCI-e slots.
Here's my thread, if you need how I reached to conclusion to buy it: *www.digit.in/forum/cpu-motherboard...ell-processor-i5-4570-around-7k-my-needs.html

i5 4570 have about the same clock speeds but better Max turbo frequency. Rest is upto you: ARK | Compare Intel® Products

AsRock Z87M Pro at 8900

Is the mobo good enough?

Which shop and where?

Gigabyte B85M-D3H rev2.0 @ 5.5k is best for i5 4460.

If B85M-D3H is rev1.0 then you have to do a Bios Upgrade in order to use i5 4460.

You don't need a Z87 board for non K processor. Also this is a mATX board. Better get a H87 or B85 board.

if you think asrock rma is good at your place, no problem in opting a z87 board at that price. but i would recommend asus h87 pro though.better durability and a display port.

Had to return the mobo due to bios issues. The shop people were afraid to upgrade the bios so they returned my money.

So I need an H97 mobo for my i5-4460. Max budget is 9k. May be I can include a Cooler in that budget too?(If that is recommended).

I bought my CPU, RAM and Motherboard for a total of 23.8k. If you get a Intel Core i5 - 4570 instead, it should get you to about 25k.
