Offline Browsing in Firefox

Although I allocated about 500 MB for the webpage cache.Unlike explorer I am unable to view pages selecting the work offline buton.What to do ?

Switch to Internet Explorer.

Though FF undoubtedly offers a lot to power users, nothing beats IE in basic Net surfing. Esp if you've got a dial-up connection.

i think IE is way slower than FF or opera, so i say dial up users shud use FF. Anyways as for ur prob rudra i dont know about it.

there's extension in firefox that will allow u to download entire websites...then u can browse offline...though i dont use that extension...but u just check...

Methinks u think wrong dude. Check this out:

Overall, Opera seems to be the fastest browser for windows. Firefox is not faster than Internet Explorer, except for scripting, but for standards support, security and features, it is a better choice. However, it is still not as fast as Opera, and Opera also offers a high level of standards support, security and features.

But be cautious while using extentions in FF. Only a handful are of any use. Most of them just render Firefox kaput. Esp the ones that are version 0.1.
