NVIDIA launched the SHIELD gaming console last year. It also launched its Tegra Note tabletsmanufactured by several vendors last year. Now the NVIDIA SHIELD Tablet has been certified on Global Certification Forum or GCF. Last month it surfaced on the official NVIDIA Tegra Zone and also surfaced on FCC. The SHIELD Tablet is rumored to have GameStream system for streaming PC games to a mobile device.

The GCF certification reveals that the tablet would come with LTE support and have Notebook/ Tablet convertible form factor, but it doesn’t reveal any other details. According to GFX Bench listing last month, the tablet would have a 7.9-inch display with a resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels, 2.1 GHz Tegra K1 SoC and 2GB of RAM.

NVIDIA is also expected to bring the Shield 2 with Tegra K1 SoC and 4GB RAM soon. It got certified at theFCC last month and the detailed specifications surfaced on AnTuTu earlier this year. What do you think? Would you buy a NVIDIA Shield Tablet if it launches ?
