Its better to leave virus than to install norton
coz most virus and norton do the same work - Eat away system resources

i prefer AVG.. rather.. Avast over AVG.
AVG is really poor @ detection. I have self tested once in my frenz comp

Try KASpersky . it is not free but is one of the best antivirus systems around

norton is good... but it will slow down the system too much...
i will suggest u Zone Alarm... and the Avast....
iam using zone alarm 4m 1 yr .. it is working very nice... and updating is also simple
