I have a problem:

I try to replace the VirusDefs(the folder which contains virus definitions) folder in C:\program Files\Common Files\Symantec Shared by a newer version copied from my friend's pc, but windows tells that the folder is in use and access denied. I tried to boot into Safe mode and delete the folder and insert the new one, but when I enter Safe Mode, the PC just restarts. I've got Norton Antivirus 2006 and Win XP SP2. How can I solve this problem ??:confused:

->Disable Norton thats running on ur taskbar..
->Also, close all the running Norton-Related processes from the task manager..
->Then, Disable all the Norton-Related Services from the Services tab of the msconfig dialog box..
->Restart
