Well For The Symbian Phones The Mp3 Player and The Video Played Consumes The Battery Rather Fast Than The Vibration :)

For The Normal Phones Its Definetly The Vibration Funtion And Even While Accessing The Gprs Service i.e while Browsing The Net Via Gprs Also Consumes Lots a Battery.....Games Yea Till Some Extent too But Ringtones Without Vibration Dosent Consume Much Battery

 roaming certainly consumes more battery...

the underlying relationship between them is the fact that signal searching/channel searching/locating network consumes more battery,nd when u have moved out of ur home circle,it continually searches for the signals.....hence drainage of battery is pretty fast!!

PS .. happens only when ur travelling nd r on route...so that phone regularly comes "in" nd "out" of cellular providers area ... when u have reached a location then consumption is same!

hi,
it has some impact..when u roam ur phone moves frm one cell to naother cell.the who;e space is divided into cells and when u move ur mob tries to jump frm one to other.it takes some thing outta ur mob..i faced it many times.stay home ur mob bleeds slowly, roam it bleeds faster.

Read the handset manual. It will clearly say that battery standby time and talk time depends on the strength of signal. So if strength of signal keeps varying, battery will go down faster. So while roaming, it is pretty obvious that signals are weak and your SIM has to keep accessing the network more often to keep itself well informed about the environment. Additinoally, some times there is no signal at all if you are travelling.
