NOKIA 6630 with 1Gb MMC

I want to upgrade my existing 256 Mb MMC with a higher capacity card.

which one will be better, 512Mb or 1Gb?

please advice.. thanx in advance..

Its good that u wana upgrade but why same post in two different sections. You can be banned for this. Mods close this thread under hardware troubleshooting

U can update ur firmware n use 1GB card safely. Else go 4 512MB

i'd suggest 512mb too. don't put in 1GB unless you frequently do the housekeeping chores. it becomes dead slow when the card is about 6-700 mb full. but then it mebbe jus my experience (actually not mine, but my fren's)

I've been running my 6630 with 1GB for quite sum time now (Kingston 1G for 1000 bucks with lifetime replacement warrantee). Just make sure that u dun have unwanted apps running in the BG. Rest said, 1gb will not be a pain for 6630.

The max. memory 6630 can support is 2gb.So 1 gb would be fine.I have been using it for abbout a year upto 900 mb full without problems.

My firmware version is 6.03.08 dated 13-02-06

bro.. can you please explain what does life time replacement warranty means. because i heard some sellers cheat using that jargon.

well lifetime in these products is usually 3 or 5 years.. thats coz everyone things that after this duration the product is obsolete and not in use anymore.
