Nokia 6300 vs SE w700i

which phone should i choose between the nokia 6300 and the sony w700i.....

w700i, any day!! (i'm not saying this jus coz i own a w700i myself!) 6300 is jus hype wid sooooooooooo many problems...

Its ur personal choice..if u want wide software support and not much of a music person then go for 6300.
but i personally would go for w700i.
I guess 6233 is no more available now.(correct me if i m wrong)

Still available with some retailers and some online sites. Gotta spend your time a bit and search thats all. []

all the software the u can ever run on 6300 will run on w700i. the software support on both phones is the same!

and yeah these days its a bit diff. to find a 6233 in store. u mite've to go searching for it.

dude 6300 has just as much "wide" support as the w700i.. its a s40v2 fone... only java apps

6300 is a s40v3 fone,possibly a s40v3 FP1.

as long as its s40 it doesn't matter for the apps. only the java engine may be upgraded. but the no. of programs do not depend on the engine. only some performance parameters do which are not very much visible in real world situation.

Ok thanks for correctimg me. I thought every symbian based mob supports all symbian softwares.
If u can find 6233, go for it. else w700i is best choice.

6300 is not symbian based. Only S60, S80, S90 and UIQ phones have Symbian OS. 6300 is a S40 phone.

music wise: w810>=w700>6233
cam wise: w810>w700>=6233 (w700i's cam is slightly better than 6233)
connectivity wise: 6233>w810>w700
cost wise: w810>w700>=6233

Theres 6233 music edition available now. Read it in newpaper few days back.

yeah but that changes the cost factor. he's considering a plain 6233 here.
