Thank you :) i ordered corsair vengeance 8gb 1600mhz ram (along with Caviar blue and PSU). It seems cash on delivery is not possible in my location so i paid online. Now i am waiting for them to ship :-D

The asus graphic card looks good but what does the availability status 'Pre-Order' mean? I think i should enquire them. The zotac one is out of stock too.
Also, can you tell me who handles the RMA for these cards? I was thinking of buying locally but now there seems to be no other option but online.

I found Zotac 560 Ti 2gb on golchhait.com for 15K! Has any one bought something from there? also can any one please tell me what is the general process that is followed if any warranty problem arises? Will i have to contact the seller or is there a service center (for zotac)?

I believe you have to contact the service center and not the seller. Aditya Infotech in case of Zotac. But if its a DOA then ofcourse its the sellers responsibility to replace with a new and working one.

Blender does support OpenCL, although not in its full extent but they have promised to implement that feature in future iterations. In that case an AMD 7000 series card is recommended due to their superior performance over Nvidia 500 and 600 series cards.

Thank you :)

Yes the 660 is better gaming card at similar price but it seems that it gives less performance in rendering than 560Ti because nvidia decided people should buy more quadros lol (this is as far as i know please feel free to correct me :) )

@Cilus
I would really like to go AMD (moreso because of their openGL performance) but today i found out the tweet while browsing blender forums... well thats it for amd i gues.. :(. The cycles kernel is too big for amd to handle

But i am getting an i7 and it is very good for CPU rendering.... im really confused about the choice of graphic cards :-? I will definitely give it a lot of thought
On another note, the stuff from flipkart is shipped :-D. I will get them by 27th i guess

EDIT:
Hmm... ill do some research on amd cards. Please suggest me good cards from AMD/ATI int 15K-16K range

Finally i have managed to build the system (well the shop guy built it :) ). I am running on an i7 without GPU and rendering rocks already. I have made up my mind to buy GTX 560 Ti 2gb version (want faster renders!). Currently i can find it available on golchhait.com (Zotac), techshop.in (Sparkle) and gadgets.in (zotac). Is zotac a better brand than sparkle? is there any difference between them?
Thank you all for your advice and suggestions :)
