Guys my sister wanted a new phone but i am confused which one to go for
what needed is
1) touch cum keypad phone
2) good sound
3) memory
4) 10k (+-2k)

i have shortlisted 2 of them nokia X3 touch and type
and Samsung wave 533
if u can suggest me which one is good or any other phone better than these

^^^OP mentioned touch and keypad phone. So O1 doesnt fit the requirement,though its a very good phone for the budget.... :grin: Go for it eyes closed if u feel like changing ur mind abt the physical keypad :cool:

Now if u want android u are limited to only 2-3 phones close to ur range.
In order of preference
1>samsung galaxy 551- horrible batt life though
2>motorola charm-buggy
3>SE mini pro- old outdated os and h/w but still ur sis may like it becoz its compact and cute. should be around 13 k

If ur sis isnt fond of android and wants a no frills phone then stay away from android. Its a gr8 os but u need to utilize and spend time on it to get the most out of it(customise,root,custom roms,task killing,sd card mngmt,etc..etc.)

In non android
1>wave 533 is a good choice like u mentioned in 1st post
2>x3-02 is a good phone too but resistive touch and Im not sure abt the cost
3>c6 another nice phone,easy to use, at home feeling wid good ol' symbian. BUt again resistive touch

another good phone,but widout touch is nokia e-5....arnd 9-10k :)

I know that the OP wants a touch-cum-keypad phone. But it is the best phone in the price. No reason to get something else in this price-range.

Nokia's phones in this price range are poor. You definitely won't want a resistive touchscreen in this price-range.

he don't. his sister wants. also as QWERTY is required, i think resistive screen can be ignored. QWERTY will come into play most of the time.

can be considered. its a dumb phone but still more usable than Nokias. perfect for the non-geeks.
