New Games for low profile hardware

Hi friends, I need some game for a friend of mine. He have a i5, 2gb ddr3, intel 3000 graphics I suppose(inbuilt)

I want new games with good graphics that can run in these settings. I donot have so much idea, so asking. Yes he may buy a mid range graphics card.

Adventure and shooter games preferred more.

Yes, I would like to ask the moderators not to close this thread and members to keep it updating. Since most people own computers with such minimal configurations. As such it would be beneficial to many.

not for me, its for my friends. And in TDF there are too many threads for resource hungry games but none for low profile PC.

whats his monitor resolution and budget for gfx card, if he wants to buy any?

with current config, most of the games released before 2005 should run i think. if u want new games, check flipkart pc games section and match them with this hardware profile.

17" AOC or Acer... 1280*1024 and for gfx card 5K-6K he may... but depends on external factors like friends, colleagues, me (he he) , he may increase budget.

at <6k an ati 6670 card is probably ur best choice, but it wont do much good @1280x1024 for latest games. for decency in that resolution you need something like hd7750 or gt550ti .

whick one is good, 6670 or 6750.... I know 6770 is better

Thats the onli difference I found from AMD website. So what to worry, I am damn sure he is never gonna buy a 3D monitor. Looking at its price >25k, if he can afford a 3D monitor, he can surely buy a 7770
