Investing in a 500GB hard drive is not a good choice considering current prices. Better go for 250GB now and add another later.

Double the amount of ram and hdd and you are set.

I am assuming he wants to encode videos too and not just photos.

Yes , Video encoding is his primary purpose of purchasing this new p.c but currently a 500GB or even 250GB H.D.D is enough

Video card is missing
H67 -> onboard gfx. No need for video card.

and 2500k on h67 mobo ? Nop,
Except OCing is not possible on H67 (He doesn't want to OC), why not??

2500K gives better onboard gfx (33% Faster video enconding) and better resale value compared to 2500.
And buy 1600fsb rams insted of 1333.
Very little diff in real world apps. Up to the OP

Igpu maybe good for u but like to suggest u to buy a decent gpu like 6750 1gb vr.
Reason?

intel quicksync can only be used with a H67 mobo if no graphics card is installed.if a graphics card is installed in a H67 mobo quick sync will be disabled.also quick sync can not be used by open source/free softwares(like handbrake,x264 etc) but only by commercial softwares(pay or pirate).it is also limited in terms of options while encoding & that is why professional/serious encoders do not use quicksync.it is mainly for casual/novice users who like 2-3 step conversion fast(enter video file, select profile, click start).

250gb hdd & 4gb ram is alright.encoding using x264 depend heavily on cpu.ram comes into play when editing videos.as for hdd unless the person is working with master studio quality video files 250gb is sufficient.
