Another one. These days we have a lot of these hardware wars. Most OP's faint I think.

Now i have following problem.
i m staying in MuMBAI.
i Cannot get the motherboard of gigabyte, u mentioned.{UD2R} in mUmbai.I HAVE CHECKED AT LAMINGTON ROAD ALSO
Everybodys here telling that there is no motherboard such as GIGABYTE UD2R.They are giving me UD3R, but its cost increases considerably.its pro+mobo=core i5 + UD3R = 25000.
its very costly, so does anybody knows here where can i get UD2R AT CHEAPER RATES, rates mentioned here.

i m thinking of TRIPLE CHANNEL MOTHERBOARD, is it worth taking it ???& does UD2R have TRIPLE CHANNEL ???

i'VE seen ASUS MOBO also, are they BETTER then GIGABYTE ???or should i stick to gigabyte.

i have decided upon nVIDIA GTS250 G CARD, so can anyone pls. tell me which is the BEST manufacturing company for this card ????

Which company RAM should i take ????
KINGSTON or CORSAIR ???
'coz the price also matters.
KINGSTON = 5500 {2x2GB DDR3}
CORSAIR = 7200 {2x2GB DDR3}

& PlS. suggest me a GooD EXTERNAL/PORTABLE 1TB HARD-DRIVE. {dont suggest SEA-GATE as that company is not reliable one}

Cpu - Intel core i5-750 (2.66Ghz) - 10.4k
Mobo - MSI P55 CD 53 - 7.2k (since GA-P55M-UD2 - 6.7k is not available anywhere in INDIA )
Ram - Transcend 2x2gb 1333mhz ddr3 - 5.2k

Total - 24.2k

Buy cheap quality RAM now. When DDR3 prices falls , get yourself quality rams with better performance . Now going for costly RAMS is waste

Also consider XFX ATI 4870 512mb - 8.6k (98% of GTX 260)

ATI 4870 512mb is only 1k more than GTS 250 but offers 98% of GTX 260


I am facing the same problem myself.

I am too building i5 rig and Gigabyte GA P55M UD2 is available nowhere throughout INDIA ( same in KOLKATA )

They offered me UD3R too but it was 12.5k

If you want Crossfire/SLI mobo : MSI P55 GD 65 - 9.5k

@DDS triple channel RAM is meant for core i7 and not for core i5. stick 2x2Gb of DDR3. If you are on a budget, get Trasncend or Kingston ram.

Also, EVGA has released a budget P55 board that soon should be available in India. Only problem with this board is that it doesn't ahve any PCI slot. has one PCIe x16 and few PCIe x1 slots.

For portable HDD, you should be able to get the 3.5" HDD for 5k-5.5k for 1Tb and 2.5" without external power for some 7k-8k. Go for Western Digital.

my friend recently purchased AMD ATHLON II X2 250 @ 3.0GHZ with an ASROCK mobo {M3A785GM-LE}
AMD ATHLON II X2 250 @ 3.0GHZ + M3A785GM-LE = 8K.
With these he got Integrated AMD Radeon HD 4200 graphics Card.

Now when i m trying to purchase Core i5 with gigabyte/MSI/ASUS mobo its costing me 18k.
But its without integrated G. card.

Why is this so ???

i m paying more then him still i m not getting any G. card. ????

Does anybody know the reason ??????

& pls. can anyone tell me

He is NOT getting a graphics card, along with the motherboard. It is just an IGP (integrated graphics processor). It is no way near a discrete GPU. The chipset is such, that IGP comes along with. What you are planning -- i5/P55 the chipset does not come with IGP, so you mount an external card. Your buy is much much quicker than your friends. It is more high end, latest tech. With your chipset + powerful gpu you can run games at full HD. For your friend to do the same he will also need to add a high end GPU. End of the day, if both of you get the SAME GPU, you will beat him in FPS numbers.
