HI ALL ..I have some queries regarding network technologies
what are WI -FI and Bluetooth technologies , and what is basic difference between them????

what are LAN? , WAN and W-LAN technologies ???
is W-LAN and WAN the same thing ??? yes or no please explain it in details
PLzz help guyz..wel i dont kno a lot abt these things and my friend has debated me on these questions....plzz use as much JARGON as u can....thnx in advance!!!!!!!!

Wi-Fi is nothing but a cool name to Wireless LAN, It is similar to Wired LAN. (Except that its wireless)

Bluetooth too is a Wireless Technology, but its used only in Sharing small files. Has very less bandwidth.

WAN = Wide Area Network.. i.e. The Internet.

W-LAN = Wireless LAN. Also includes technologies like Wi-Fi, WiMAX, etc.

WAN as I said, Wide Area Network. i.e Huge Network of Computers connected together. Internet is an Example for WAN!
