Netbook recommendation required

Hi guyz,
Please suggest me a netbook. The main reason I want one is its portability. I have a laptop but its difficult to carry about.

1. Must have bluetooth, wifi, lan, dial-up, USB ports
2. Webcam not required
3. Windows based - XP home will also do.
4. Min RAM: 256 MB. Min. HDD: 10 Gb+ Processor: <No idea>
5. Budget: flexible -- but would prefer cheaper ones as I already have my main laptop.

I will be running Apache web server, PHP and MySQL mainly on it. Some light amount of programming. No heavy work like high-level graphic or video editing.

I stay in Thane(Mumbai) Please mention model no. and price.

Same purpose for me , i too need LINUX cause i am linux system Engineer so i need to run apache , all servers includes PHP

but i tried installing fedora in to ACER aspire one , it is very very slow i dono , the typing is very hard

@DGM999, actually i would not be using linux...I did try Ubuntu and was impressed by it, but I think Linux is not for me. I just can live without Notepad++ for editing my scripts and that not available on linux. I didn't like the other editors available on Linux

Acer is he cheapest and it's good.

But it's trackpad is not very good.

Price - 17k(some as low as 15k).

Samsung nc10 or asus 1000h both r good. If i had the money i would hav gone for nc10

Lenovo 3000 Y410 7757 87Q - 1.73 dual Core, 2GB DDR2, 160 gigs HDD, BT,WIFI,etc.

I know I can find the price using google but many stores do not update the price, or some do not mention it completely as in taxes included or not. Thanks.

u can get asus 1000h for around 21k as for nc10 it was retailing at 25k at croma wth a samsung j700 cell phone free. but i think that offer is over now.

Close your eyes and go for aspire one. Else samsung NC10 should be your 2nd option.

Completely agreed on that.

And yeah, there are retailers selling the Linux version for \:-

Rs. 14,999 only

It has
1GB RAM
120GB HDD (AFAIK)
8.9" LCD
Okay battery life(more on the good than okay)

It looks downright sexy!

Hmmm... Rohan go for Aspire.. You can easily get one in chroma.

Samsung NC10 - 23k. You get a free Samsung J700 with it, worth about 5k.

^ I did google for samsung J700 but I am not impressed with the phone when compared to my year old Nokia 3110c. so no use of going for the phone. I think I will go with Acer or Asus. Will pay a visit to Vashi Croma(Mulund one is not up to the mark)

check out the asus 1000HE, dunno whether its available in india or not, but a huge improvement over the older asus model
