hi all :)

i want to buy a netbook for rs 15000 this week.
basically i m searching for a fast and longer lasting netbook.
i hv shortlisted two netbooks.

1) HP Mini 110-3730TU PC (Black / White is not available :( ) - 14k from Letsbuy.com with 1k rs coupon code with free 3g data card.
2) Asus R051PX (White) - 15k from flipkart.

Both hv atom N570 proccy

Read somewhere that hp mini has poor battery lyf and not so good design than asus one.
but feature wise mini is ahead by 1gb and better display and its cheap too.

but i like the design of asus eepc veryyyy much and its available in white too :( .

plzz help me buying a netbook ... :)

yes definately but in terms of price and features not in looks..

for netbook its better to go for feature rich netbook coz at the end of the day
u will be doing some sort of multi tasking which asus cant handle with its 1gb of ram.. but u can go for its great looks if u want to.

What is your view about MSI U135 Netbook, N455, 1Gb DDR-3, 320Gb,10" with Windows XP home Pre-installed with freebies for Rs 13473/- on letsbuy.com. I am enamoured by windows xp than windows 7 starter or home basic and like this. However as this might be an obsolete model of 2010 will MSI or Letsbuy offer service and exchange if the product fails. But even if it fails For Basic Internet/E-Mail Access via Outlook express Chrome browser via MTNL 3G Data USB Modem, it is the cheapest option. What do you say. I also live in New Delhi.

I'd say spending a little more and getting an AMD C-50 or E-350 based netbook will be much better. These are faster (both CPU and GPU) and more power efficient than Intel atom.

i wud suggest not to go for old technology in case of netbooks...
better go for hp with 2gb and anti glare screen with latest dual core atom processor for 14k only..and i hv currently installed windows 8 developer preview and its working like a charm on my hp mini :D

i dont think 1gb is sufficient RAM for multitasking...

u can go for msi if u u r sure that u wont be doing some moderate heavy stuffs on your netbook with its nice look .
