Need urgent help with 'regedit'.

Need urgent help with 'regedit'.
Am using WinXP Pro.
Since yesterday when I try to run "regedit" I get error :
"Another program is using this file."
However in safe mode it is working fine.
Please someone help me with the solution.

Problem solved.
Restarted the comuter an hourback.

Nod32 reported the following and quarantined same.
c:\documents and settings\all users\start menu\programs\startup\svchost.exe Win32/TrojanDropper.VB.LU trojan.Alert was generated during the system startup file check.

Spybot S&D Quarantined - "Windows Security Center.AntiVirusDisableNotify"

Microsoft Antispyware Quarantined - "HKCU\Software\SoftwareOnLine.com"

I still do not know which of the above three was responsible for the error in 'regedit'

maybe you ran regedit right when the virus was makin changes to the registry...

Lucky u found out in time...
