Need to extend Wireless Network Range.

Hi ppl,

I have a WRT54G v5 Linksys Router. I am facing immense problems with the range of this in my house setup. Can anybody recommend what can I do to extend the range a bit?

My options are:

1) I build a home made wireless antenna ( too bored to do this )
2) Buy a wireless antenna ( dont know wat rating/db gain shud it be for home)
3) Add an access point which includes huge additional costs.

If anyone has had similar problems and got'em resolved. Help me out too...

Also if anyone can suggest where I can buy good 802.11 2.4 ghz range extender antennas?

I use a Billion powerline wireless solution borrowed from my office.

Try to get one if you can from overseas.

Keith, thnx for the reply... dont have anyone coming frm abrd... so solution is not feasibile... I would appreciate if someone has idea abt where I can get good antennas in mumbai!
