Need suggestions on buying a good cellphone..

Hi Everyone,

I want to buy a mobile phone with good features , functionality , music , GPS etc...
Basically I want a touch screen phone and i have zeroed in on the Nokia 5800 Xpressmusic....
I've read a lot of reviews about this phone but need your suggestions on buying it...my budget is 14K ~ 15K for the phone...
Other phone recommendations are also welcome....

5800 is a good phone! But I'd rather buy the Samsung Galaxy Spica for about 11.5k, but that's just me!

Thats a good phone but i am a Symbian Fan so that's why i am looking at the 5800 Xpressmusic...
Any particular reasons on why you suggested this phone..??

Symbian for touchphones is the worst OS for touchscreen phones.. Android is the fastest growing mobile OS.. Its the next big thing!

Does the Samsung Galaxy Spica have all the features that the Nokia 5800 XM has ??
Moreover how is its music quality ??

if you really want symbian go for the 5800XM but beware the stylus will last you mostly for three months..
else go for what kalpik suggested!!!!!

stylus??? who use stylus with 5800...do u??

5800 is very good symbian phone ..just that its cam is not upto the mark..and the OS looks dated(boring) now..

galaxy spica is much better than 5800 as it has got capacitive touch screen...look i created similar kinda thread....n m waiting for xperia x10 mini....

Dude symbian is outdated..android is in n surely b d
nxt big things..

If u cn xtend ur budget,u cn go for htc hero also..

If u want symbian,thn 5800 is nice..

P.S - touchscreen of 5800 is nt tht good..

I would definitely go for the Samsung Phones over the Nokia one mentioned in the thread. But thats of course just my opinion.

thing is 5800 is 2yrs old and nokia didnt do anything new for this mid segment..
BTW X6 would have been a great replacement for 5800..but where is it??
