Check this
Asus X53SC-SX492D / Core i5 / 2 GB / 750 GB / Free DOS

BTW if you will keep it mostly stationary then consider buying a desktop as it will offer more performance

Don't go for the above mentioned HP model

And if you want genuine windows then I think the best option for you is Sony VAIO E Series VPCEH35EN

Here are some things which are particular in this case.
1.1GB GPU is essential. No two ways.
2.Genuine Windows Essential
3.Service should be onsite, which sony lacks..Having said that,ASUS has a relatively smaller presence in Bihar/Jharkhand region, which is why Asus is not being considered

He has almost finalised on hp g6-1301tx with following specs
Core i3,500GB HDD,2GB RAM(+ a 4gb upgrade),ATi radeon 7450 1GB DDR3 GPU,Win 7 hb @34k.

Is there anything wrong with this specs??I have experience of hp and its service, and i can say its excellent.I request members to kindly lay some light on demerits of above laptop, and suggest if you know of a better specc'd machine. We are considering hp,dell and sony(but only with on-site warranty).

If you like it, the HP, get it. The heating issues, you know, are very subjective.
Is something like 75C hot when playing battlefield 3?
I'd say no. some would say yes. personal opinions.

Just keep in mind that the gpu isnt very powerful.
Btw the dell has got the best gpu amongst the three, followed by the hp.

Now its upto you to decide.

*edit*

For heating see this also
