i got the price from here AMD Radeon HD 6950 Price in India - AMD 6950 Price - Graphics Card btw i got some prices from internet and some from digit magzine.

Go with Cosair Vengeance or G.skil Ripjawas 1600mhz 4GB RAM (single stick)

so as you guys suggested i will go with g.skil Ripjawas ram but i am really confused which is the better one a single stick ram [1*4GB] or a double stick ram[2*2GB].

well the prices of all parts are low than i expected so can you tell me the price of the Core i7-2600 processor so that i can adjust my rig to get an i7 processor and also please tell me where did you get these prices from?

well thank you very much for the replies guys.

Go with Dual channel (2 x 2GB) if possible but they won't provide any noticeable difference in performance, maybe 4-5% only.

I think going with a 2x2 for now is OK. Most things now or coming couple of years wont Hog on a 4 GB DDR3 unless in to Video Editing / encoding work, photoshop etc.

HD6950 is very Nice Card and it starts around 14.4K HIS Make and upwards. But Get the MSI Twin Frozer III Edition. It rox.

nVidia Option: Zotac 560 Ti AMP Edition which is faster than a Stock HD6950 and cheaper by few hundred rupees.

GS600 can run pretty much and Single GFX smooth. If You are not going for CF/SLI get it or get a 850W of Cosair, Tagan or Antec make PSU if SLI/CFX is in Mind.

MSI Mobo is good but looking at some posts in this forum and my own experience its not extactly easy to get. Ripjaws has my vote for Ram as their height helps fit custom coolers than vengence. If no OC then just go with the cheaper one.

I think right now getting a single 4GB module is better option than 2X2 GB config. The reason is that currently 4GB is the standard size for DDR3 modules and also available in dirt cheap price. So in future going for 2X 4GB config is easy with it. It also saves one ram slot of the motherboard.

^With Cilius on this one.

BTW i7 2600k is 16k at most. Maybe lower but 16k is the ceiling.

I got my HD 6970 for 21k about 6 months back. I asked for the 6950 and was quoted 15k to 16k depending on manufacturer. People have bought it for much lower. Just dig into this thread *www.thinkdigit.com/forum/pc-components-configurations/143901-pc-buying-guide-2011-q4.html when people update the prices they usually quote the source, I think usually smcinternational

so guys from all your suggestions i finally made this configuration so shall i go with it or is there any changes that to be made for it?
i got a doubt that is that mobo is good for that 17 processor or do i need to get another one?? and also do i really need a special cpu cooler for that i7 processor??? i am not going to overclock it now but in future if i overclock it i will get a special cpu cooling fan but is my mobo good enough to handle it??
thank you very much for the previous replies guys.
thank you....

Don't go for Corsair GS600 if you are going to overclock your GPU and CPU in the future. I don't think that is safe enough. Get a Corsair TX 850 V2 for 6.3k

GS600 is well enough for a CPU+ single GPU config. TX 850 V2 is not at all required, it can even power HD 6950 in CF. But for being on safer side, I think there is a Seasonic 620W Bronze PSU available @ 4.5/4.6K. You can opt for that too.

For Gaming i7 provides NOTHING more as compared to i5. So save the money and go for a i52500k with a Noctua D14.

I think the GS600 has sufficient power to OC this rig. GPU is already factory OC. I dont recommned OCing 6950 TF III as its very powerful out of the box itself.
@Cilus You also got a good point but as long as mobo has 4 slots its doesnt matter much imo :) 2+2+4+4 = 12GB limit has pretty good head room so why not take the advantage for Dual Channel (Even though only few percent.)
