I want to buy a 22' LCD monitor. I'm not into gamming, its mainly for watching movies, surfing web, and working on photoshop and flash. I also have plan to add a TV Tuner card.
I don't have a graphic card. Do i need a graphic card to utlise the monitor at its full resolution. If so please suggest me a graphic card.
My budget.. Monitor: Rs.10k -12k and Graphic Card: Max Rs.4K

Thanks for the suggession.
And how about samsung T220 (20k:1, 2ms, Rs 13500) vs 2233SW (15k:1, 5ms, Rs 10300)
Is it worth spending extra Rs.2200 for T220.

^^ Its not just abt money, both has different resolution. 2233SW has 1920 x 1080 and T220 has 1680 x 1050 resolution . I think you should go for 2233.

for working with photoshop and flash he will need a standard resolution monitor like 2233SW or 2409W, so IMO don't go for T220 or Acer 23.6" and all

really gochoice, go for it, u will not be disappointed.. :)

I bought this LCD jus 2 days back (for Rs.10.6K with Rs.250/- extra for a DVI cable for my gtx280) and MAN!! watching movies on this devilish baby is a treat.... sweeeeet.. :D
Watched Pirates of the Carribbean and all the pic quality was awesome, with gr8 reflection off the water, nice clouds, brightly lit surroundings in every scene, perfect black textures in lowly lit areas of the film.. :)
