1. What is the purpose of the computer? What all applications and games are you going to run? (Stupid answers like 'gaming' or 'office work' will not work. Be exact. Which games? Which applications? Avoid the word 'et cetera.')
Ans: Programming (visual studio, eclipse, sql), Light gaming but should be able to play latest titles not necessarily on full settings, watching movies, multitasking

2. What is your overall budget? If you can extend a bit for a more balanced configuration, then mention this too.
Ans: 25k

3. Planning to overclock?
Ans: Probably, afterwards

4. Which Operating System are you planning to use?
Ans: windows 8, planning to install Hackintosh

5. How much hard drive space is needed?
Ans: 500gb

6. Do you want to buy a monitor? If yes, please mention which screen size and resolution do you want. If you already have a monitor and want to reuse it, again mention the size and resolution of monitor you have.
Ans: I have Monitor

7. Which components you DON'T want to buy or which components you already have and plan on reusing?
Ans: Monitor, keyboard, mouse, speaker, dvd writer

8. When are you planning to buy the system?
Ans: This month

9. Have you ever built a desktop before or will this be done by an assembler?
Ans: I'll assemble

10. Where do you live? Are you buying locally? Are you open to buying stuff from online shops if you don't get locally?
Ans: Mumbai, lamington road and online shops are my options

11. Anything else which you would like to say?
Ans:

Please explain why :|

I didn't had the choice to upgrade cabinet later.

> Corsair VS series PSUs aren't really good. Antec VP450P which is available at same price is a much much better option.

> CM Elite 311 is also not a very good cabinet. NZXT Gamma is a much better choice available for ~2.5k

I have a problem, my monitor is very old, it has only vga port.
However, my graphic card has DP, HDMI and DVI(dual link) ports.
"DVI to VGA is not supported" was written on the graphic card (HD 6670) manual.
What can I do?
(I cant buy monitor now)

XFX Radeon HD 6670 1GB GDDR5 128-bit
Cannot find link, I bought it from Lamington Road.

Edit:
Got the link : XFX - United States - AMD Radeon? HD 6670

I didnt tried any convertor, my friend had the DVI to VGA convertor but it is clearly specified (on the manual) that it is not supported.
