need oprating system with GUI to make live USB ..

    Hi guys ...i am new to linux so am gonna need ur help here

    i need a operating system to make a live usb for rescuing purpose...it should have a nice gui and easy to understand......i need it to copy files from on partition to another from the hard disc (i once tried mandrive??? it didnt copy pasted my files) .....and it should less then 1 gb (lesser the better).....and oh ! it shouldnt be difficult to install ...

    Try Slax (~200 MB)

    It's a little tricky to set up, but only a little...

    You can also try Ubuntu if you can concede 600+ MB space

    LoL try Ubuntu Linux :D :D Its the best
    No need to install
    Just insert your pendrive & boot using it
    Its just 700Mb :) :) and very very simple indeed
    You can create Bootable USB of Ubuntu or other many distributions using uneetbootin in windows
