I have an Xfx hd 6670 1gb ddr5 gpu and amd 12.4 driver. .
in the amd overdrive option,there is gpu clock settings , memory clock settings and manual fan speed control option. . .

by default, . .gpu clock settings is set at 800. . .max is 900mhz
memory clock settings is set at 1000. . .max is 1150mhz
fan speed is set at auto and always rotates at 28% . . .

wats d utility of increasing the gpu clock setting or memory clock setting??
wil manually increasing d fan speed help??

Increasing the gpu clock and memory clock will make your card run faster, providing a little better fps in games. You can change the fan speed according to your requirements.

Yes, it will obviously consume more power.

You may need to increase the fan speed in case you are not satisfied by the temps.

I don't think that it will effect gpu's life if the temps are safe. Do not play with the voltages. Because getting more clock speed by overvolting might be dangerous for your gpu because overvolting generates a lot of heat. So OC, but upto the safe limit.
