Need help..........

Right off the assembly line
i have a transcend 2 gb pendrive, it was working well. but for the last week , when i insert it to port it get detected , but when i try to open it , it shows a error msg, please insert disk into drive. when i try to format it , it shows there is no disk in drive. please help me . what should i do . is my pendrive gone??:sad:
 
Wrong section !! Should have posted this in hardware section.

BTW ... try another post or another computer. but i really doubt its gone !

Yes, your pen drive seems to be damaged. Take it to the shop you bought it from with the original bill. Transcend has no service center in India, so don't even try to contact them directly. Just pick up the original bill and rush to the shop. If you do not have the original bill, throw the drive in the dustbin and forget you ever had it. Since transcend offers lifetime warranty, you need to produce the bill to prove you bought it in this lifetime itself!!! :C_badmood:
