Hello Friends,

I have Windows XP with SP2, Panda Titanium Antivirus 2006.

yesterday a virus was found in my PC and Panda disinfected it. (I forgot to note down the virus name).

Then I restarted my PC. No problems with windows boot. But in the start-up in the Desktop I got a error message saying...

" windows cannot find 'init33x.exe'. Make sure you typed the name correctly, and they try again."

I don't know what is this Error and with what application is this associated

I ran Norton WinDoctor 2005 thinking it might rectify but no use. the error remains.

Otherwise theres not problem working in my PC. Just a small error I want to get rid of.

Thanx
Arsenal.

start -> run->msconfig

go to startup tab & check if there is an entry with this exe in it, remove that entry

IF U HAVE REPAIRED THE VIRUS THERE IS A POSSIBILTY THAT IT MIGHT HAVE DAMAGED SYSTEM FILE PERMANTLY BEFORE ITS REMOVAL.SO THERE IS A SIMPLE SOLUTION:
RE-INSTALL WIN XP
THE DATA WILL NOT BE ERASED IT WILL BE OVERWRITED AND MISSING FILE WILL BE REPAIRED
OR U CAN TRY TO USE RECOVERY CONSOLE IN THE WIN-XP CD
