Right off the assembly line
1. What is the purpose of the computer? (Note: If you are planning to say multimedia, you will have to be more specific as all types of systems are capable of doing that)
A: Games,Watching HD movies,MSOffice,Downloading,Multitasking....

2. Are you open to alternate ideas/products giving similar better performance but offering more VFM/ sellers? If not- why?
A: Yes

3. What is your MAX budget?
A: 37K Fixed

4. Planning to overclock?
A: !!!

5. Which OS are you planning to use?
A: Windows 7 64bit

6. How much hard drive space is needed?
A: 500 Gb

7. What resolution will the screen run at & whats the size of the screen you want? If you already want have one and want to use it, mention its resolution and size.
A: Full HD

8. How would you rate your hardware knowledge from the count of 1-10? (1 being the lowest, 5 being you are somewhat in sync with the current performers and 10 being the highest)

9. Have you ever built a desktop before or will this be done by an assembler?
A: No...ll take help from a assembler...

10. When are you planning to buy the system?
A: In 3~4 Days...

11. Are you one of the types looking out for "future proof" configurations?

A: Speakers,UPS,Keyboard and Mouse....

-Can I play Crysis 2 with medium settings @Stock??

^^ You can play crysis 2 @ enthusiast (very high) settings with a 6850. Don't underestimate it.

With the conf suggested by Jaskanwar Singh I can Play Crysis 2 at Full HD 1920*1080 ?(Including Gigabyte GA-880GA-UD3H (rev. 3.1) @ 5.4k) hmm...at what frame rates than ? Pls confirm on these....

Yeahh!! 40K Without monitor....(ll use my CRT monitor for couple of month :))
After Reading some post I come up with these :-
Core i5 2500k reason hd 3000
Asus P8H67 V atx board form asus (best h67 ?)
Corsair GS 600 ll not go for crossfireX
Seagate 500gb 7200
NZXT Gamma or suggest any bottom mounted Case
Suggest a 4 Gb Ram and hopefully budget HD 6870 card.

Still looking forward to Your opinion.ll finalized tomorrow and place the order on 20th.Thank you all in advance :razz:

whats the point of HD 3000 of 2500k if you would be using a discrete card without Z68 motherboard?

I mean that if you want to use both the graphics hardware: 2500k's HD 3000 and AMD 6xxx, then you should buy a Z68 based motherboard

No point of getting K series SB with H67 mobo. Now P67 and Z68 both are @same price so if you are going for K series get Z68 board IMO.

For RAM go with G Skill Ripjaws-X F3-12800CL9S-4GBXL or Corsair Vengeance (CMZ4GX3M1A1600C9) if you are selecting Z68.

One U suggested includes Monitor. I don Need a monitor for now. ll get it after couple of month or so. That is the only way I can get a good config.
In 40k I need CPU,Mobo,RAM,PSU,Case,(GPU)
(GPU=HD6850 or 6870 pls prefer the brand) Thank you in advance.

yes you can overclock with phenom config but not i5 2500.
but i5 2500 is very powerful at stock.
