Hi all
I need your help in choosing the right andriod phone. My main priorities will be a side-slider qwerty with a reasonable display size. I am not comfortable with touchscreen ( Even though it is like the default in all smartphones).I will be surfing the net when I am on my move and I am comfortable more with typing on the keypad than on touchscreen.I will also appreciate other goodies like a good camera ( extra front cam if possible ) , large screen etc. Well my budget is 15k so it wont be high end but still I zeroed in on Samsung Galaxy Gravity / Galaxy 551 . Unfortunately I live in Kolkata and it seems all the best stuff either reaches here last or not at all.
For Samsung there isnt ANY model in the Slider mode . Thats unfortunate. So I am now forced to consider something I dislike-Sony Ericsson. Well Now here is the question I was checking up the Xperia Mini Pro / and Xperia x10 Mini Pro ( Please tell me whether these two are the same thing or different ) and tell me how will the Xperia Mini pro going to be? Of course the screen size wont be larger only 3" but I will get the Silder qwerty keypad. I can consider othet Brands / models too and even can stretch my budget my choices are met.
Thanks
sanu

Xperia Mini Pro if you are ok with a 3" screen (in case of Android, bigger screen = better xperience) & i heard there is some static noise problem.

no, Xperia mini = good.
Xperia Mini X10 pro = sucks.

Look at Nokia E6 & see if the screen size suits you. Its a qwerty but not slider. Its a good model & due for the Belle update shortly.

^^ But it is not an Android. Flipkart.com: HTC ChaCha: Mobile is an Android, has Qwerty, Gingerbread, 5 MP Cam, 3.5" display, 800 MHz proc.

If not for your qwerty demand, I would have suggested Defy.
