Right off the assembly line
Hey Everybody
So..I'm Gonna Get my First Smartphone For my birthday on April 20..I've Done Quite a bit Research on which one should i go for..After All the Filtering up and Considering the budget and all...
I've come to these two beauties...
i'm stuck between these two coz both have their own pro's and Cons...i'll list them..Please help me out... Thanks
SAMSUNG OMNIA W
PROS:
Super AMOLED Screen
Windows Mango 7.5
1.4GHz Qualcomm MSM8255 Snapdragon CPU,
Adreno 205 GPU,
512MB of RAM
battery life is decent
Awesome package in a single phone in such low price..
CONS:
No extendable SD Card memory(8GB inbuilt) I'm and Audiophile..so this disappointed me a lot
Zune-only file management and sync(Got a fix though!!)
No Bluetooth file transfers
Small Windows market Place..(expanding..Yes)
Sony Ericsson Xperia Mini pro
PROS:
Android v2.3 (Gingerbread) OS Up-gradable to ICS 4.0
3-inch TFT Touchscreen with Bravia Engine
1 GHz Scorpion Processor
Adreno 205 GPU
512 MB of Ram
Expandable Storage Capacity of 32 GB
Physical Qwerty Keyboard for texting
Awesome Music Experience..(of course...its Sony!!!!)
Huge Android Market..
CONS:
One Doubt is that whether it would be fast enough with ICS upgrade (with no lags)
Battery Drains out without considerable backup...
I've read many reviews but i couldn't decide which way to go...Please help me out...
**New Recommendations are welcome **
Additional Details
i also have Xperia Ray in Consideration..But..when compared with Mini Pro...(*www.flipkart.com/mobiles/comp...BDYNMDFMZNF6UP)
they almost hung in balance....
I've Taken out Omnia out of equation...taking into consideration..its Marketplace & Customization and several other features..I personally think Windows has long way to go before it is considered as a good, User friendly OS..{maybe my second Smartphone }//Please Give Your thoughts and Opinion//
So i'm gonna stick with Already Established Giant..ANDROID..
now...the thing is...
With ICS 4.0 around the corner...i want a smartphone which can perform without any lags after the Upgrade...Both Ray and Mini pro are having same capabilities...I have no idea how these phones would perform after ICS upgrade...
i have 20,000 INR/ 400$/ 250pounds in my pocket...
please suggest me if i should stick with any one of these...or if there is a better Performer at this Price Range,,,
Thank you
