I recently purchased a Dell laptop with 320gb HDD. But it came with two partitions, a 10gb backup partition and the remaining in 1 partition. I wish to partition this huge one into smaller ones. I entered disk management in administrative tools and clicked on split partition. But it showed a max split size of 80GB while around 250gb is free on that partition. I even shifted the pagefile to the other partition but to no avail.
Someone pls help me on how do i split it into 230gb n 80gb?
P.S. to clear confusion, the disk management will let me create a new partition of 80gb but i wish to store my documents n data files on this new partition n not on a system partition.
