Need help buying a gamepad for PC

Hi,

I want to buy a gamepad for playing games like NFS Shift, Prince of Persia, Devil May Cry 4 etc. on the PC.
Please recommend what should I go for. My budget is around Rs. 1500.
Also, is the x360 controller a good choice?

for your budget Microsoft Xbox 360 Controller priced at 1.5k or so is the way to go..
