Good Day All,

I need advice on buying a laptop between these two options: Dell Inspiron 15R Special Edition Vs HP Dv6-7011.

I heard a lot of praise about Dell laptops but my friends here suggest to go for HP with its better configuration. Both are in same price range.

Can you ask your friend on what basis he said the Hp has a better configuration?

And @topic +1 to the dell.

Recently my friend purchased this item, HP Pavilion G6-2016TX. Along with it he also paid Rs. 1133/- to HP via cheque to increase the warranty further 1+2 total 3 years and 4GB 1600MHz RAM.

So lappy @ 44680
Warranty @ 1133
4GB extra RAM @ 1600
-----------------------
Total 47500

And for that you get, Core i5 3rd Gen / 8GB 1600 MHz RAM / 500 GB SATA2 / ATI Radeon 7670M HD / 3 year warranty on the full device..

At least we didnt find a better deal from Dell considering the warranty and configuration.

However mind you, the web cam offered in any HP model is really really bad..
