Need Advice on 10-12K Segment

Once again I am with a query... I am planning to gift a electronic device around 10-12K to one of my friend.
I am totally confused on what to select.
Finally I have planned to settle for the following devices.
Help me in choosing one...

Apple IPOD Touch
Huawei X5 PRO / U 8550 Vision

I am bit inclined towards IPOD touch as it might be best for this price
Other suggestions are also welcome...
