a. Like: Dell , Lenovo (Thinkpad ), Sony (Vaio)


4) What are the primary tasks will you be performing with this notebook?
Programming (6Hours),
Surfing,
watching movies

5) What screen resolution(s) & type (glossy/matte) would you prefer?

I wont play or install any gaming stuff.

Minimum Specs
Processor : i5
RAM : 4GB or 6GB
HDD : 320 GB

Build Quality : Excellent
Keyboard & Touchpad should work properly and effectively.
Moreover it should not generate more heat
Battery time should be high
If i have to opt for Sony which VAIO Series fits the above specifications ?
If i choose Lenovo thinkpad will the build quality is more that others
Also which Vendor will provide best support after purchase ? (Like Charging Price of replacing a battery etc..)

Core i5 3rd Gen + Intel HD 4000 should be good enough for Programming and normal running.

Cheap and best option for you is Samsung NP300E5X-A01IN, if you buy this you save a lot of your money.
If you wish to buy Sony only then the best option is Sony VAIO SVS13112EN but it overshoots your budget.
Apart from that you can have a look at Dell Inspiron 14R which will cost you around 42k but in that you will get original windows as well as USB 3.0 which is missing in the samsung laptop that is mentioned above
