Need a New UPS

need suggestions on buying a ups for powering my system for 5-10 mins before i shutdown at the time of powercut.budget is anywhere < 5k.
no compromise on quality whatsoever.but i m skeptical on spending 5k
urgent help needed.wanna buy asap

Thats a great UPS. I'm using it for my Athlon ii x4 635 + HD 6850. Its given me a 30 min backup so far and then i shut down the PC. 5-10 mins for your rig shouldn't be a problem.

Considering your config, as tenida have said already, APC 1.1KVA is a very good choice for you.

Should have posted your config but since you say upto 5k you can't go wrong with the APC 1.1KVA for 4.5k, that almost everyone here uses. I've got one too.

nice purchase,

I myself hv been using 2 APC UPSes (1 smartUPS 1500VA and another BackUPS 500VA) sice past 5 years and it runs gr8...

U can never go wrong with an APC.. :)

Right off the assembly line
I am facing huge power cuts..2 hrs in the morning (10-12 am )and 2 hrs in the evening (4-6 ) total 4 hrs.. affecting my work very badly :sad:

need suggestion for ups for 2 pc and 1 laser printer. approx cost; brand or can I go for local brand. ?
