Need a Laptop around 25K

Hi All, M friend is planning to buy a latop. Kindly give some suggestions

1) What is your budget? INR 25000, can increase upto 26K... Not more than that

2) What size & weight consideration (if any) would you prefer?
14-16 inches

3) Are there any brands that you prefer or any you really don't like?
a. Like:ASUS, Open to all
b. Dislike:Acer

4) What are the primary tasks will you be performing with this notebook?
Simple games, Embedded C Softwares, Movies

5) What screen resolution(s) & type (glossy/matte) would you prefer?
Anything

6) Anything else you would like to say? Mostly local purchase, also online if getting a good deal

Personally I like 14" laptops more than 15" so I am suggesting you to go for a 14".
And here is the one which is the best in that budget:
Asus X44H-VX025D
You can even get almost same config in a 15" at same price, there are 2 models, and link goes here.

you can get it or the other Asus model suggested as you are not into gaming both will satisfy your needs. X53TA will give you bigger screen as well a powerful GPU. X44 on the other hand is compact and cheap. decide.

When I ordered the price was around 27K... Even in local markets they were asking around 28k here. So i ordered it in letsbuy.

But after I have ordered the price has increased around 1.5k in the site.

Before my order the price was 28.9k and after my order it was 28.5 k

By the way is SMC good for online purchasing?????

this is a common act by LetsBuy & Flipkart. Once you order or inquire about a product they immediately increase the price.

yup. Trusted computer shop. And they have their own showroom in Delhi and being national distributor of many brands trusted by everyone. have brought from them myself. anyway as you have already ordered from LetsBuy this doesn't matter now.

PDC will help but why not go for 2nd gen i3 with 4GB ram. total cost will be 26k max. maybe 25k if you buy locally and bargain a bit.
