NASA: A Giant leap for the Frogkind

Lost in speed

It was snapped by one of NASA's remote cameras during last week's launch of the LADEE spacecraft at the Wallops Flight Facility in Virginia. "The photo team confirms the frog is real and was captured in a single frame by one of the remote cameras used to photograph the launch," NASA explains in the accompanying caption. "The condition of the frog, however, is uncertain."

Santa Maria!

The frog was probably running some final tests on the rocket. And some trigger happy manager went and launched the rocket. That froggy is a hero in my eyes. *salutes*

I feel sad for the frog. :(
Maybe the frog survived. You know, tiny animals are more resilient to falls.

So, why this deserved a special thread, when it could have posted in LOL pics thread? :p
