My Xp Search button Has vanished.

My Xp Search button from the start menu has vanished plz advice me what to do i had restored the system but nothing happened.....

Right click on the taskbar and go to properties. click on the start menu tab, then to customize. Then to the advance tab and then scroll down and check the search box. Apply. OK

Your Search box is back

hye system restored should have broght that option back.... though babumuchhala gave u the right tip.... but i am thinkging about what u said..... realy system restore should have brought that setings back....

I really don't use XP's search feature. Some sort of Indexing sw like Advanced File Organizer is better
