my scanner not working

last year i am purchasing hp2400 scanner.but now a days the scanner not working properly.wheni scaning a document some error show me the account( twain driver not working).and the scanner sound make a beep sound continuly.

Uninstall the scanner driver and reinstall. Delete manually scanner device from Printers and scanners under Control Panel if it does not get automatically removed. If using XP check using services.msc that Windows image Acquisition (WIA) service is set to manual and not disabled.
