i have bought a new sapphire radeon hd 5670 1gb ddr5. but when i install it and check in device manager >display adapter it says standard vga graphic controller as well as in dxdiag in memory it shows only 16 bit and also the resolution is wrong which 1400x1050 .my monitor is LG W1942S. but in my previous hd 4350 it showed the name in device manager as well as dxdiag and in memory is said 1024 mb and the resolution was 1440x900 which was perfect for the monitor. i have tried installing the newest driver an uninstalling the old driver but still it doesn't work . so whats the problem? and how can i fix it ?

surely a driver problem. have you installed new drivers from the bundled disc or downloaded new one? GPU_Z shows the GPU correctly?

remove CMOS battery & let bios reset to factory settings. maybe then AMD CCC will recognize & install the drivers correctly.
