My mom needs a phone Budget: 10-18k

my mom dropped her iPhone and the screen's slide to unlock feature is not working.

I knew the iPhone wasnt a good choice for her.

My mom is a rough person, she drops phones alot so she requires some phone which is durable.

She wants a simple phone with WhatsApp, etc.

She doesnt use Apps much.

can anyone suggest a Durable phone that is good for her?

Xperia Go is built like a tank but the Phone is completely basic (on android terms)
Best phone for 18k is definitely L9 though

If she's a rough person and needs mobile for simple apps, why's the budget upto 18k.
Whether she is neither iOS nor Android type persons, you can look for touch-n-type phones from nokia. So, even touch goes type will work.

She wants a big screen, she cant see well..

Any preferences? Preferably not too expensive..

If you want a good phone that can afford few drops from your mom hands then just don't get a micromax or any other cheap brand phone as they are not so durable.
Neither get a Sony phone, opt from Samsung or HTC.
I hope she is not a hardcore user, so I recommend you to buy her HTC Desire X which costs around 15k these days.

Apart from that I request mods to move this thread to the appropriate section.
