Music System buying dilemma!

Hey Guys,

Well I am on the lookout for a Music System with a budget of Rs.25,000 (+/- Rs. 5000)

need your recommendations on what to lookout for and what to buy ..

Saw a Sony Music System @ Croma priced at the very same price ...so are there any other options ?

My primary use will be to listen to music+radio (for mom), will be using a USB drive (pendrive) to listen to Mp3...

do let me know if i shud be adding any more info so that u guys can help me out..

Sony Music System??? argh

Better buy Powered 2 channel speakers and get the Asus Xonar Essence STX, much better than the sony speaker system. Just trust me. I have auditioned sony, just an average sound quality.

Well. but I do not need it for my PC setup...

I need an independant Music/hi-fi system which can be operated by everyone i the house w'out any fuss...

Then I suggest you do not spend this much if you are not going in the audiophile route.

My recommendation would be:

CMT-EH25 : Micro Hi-Fi System : Hi-Fi System : Sony India

OR

CMT-DX400A : Micro Hi-Fi System : Hi-Fi System : Sony India

Save your money for the future when you buy any good stereo speaker bookshelves.

Buy Sony MHC-GZR5D and later when you want to go for the audiophile route so sell this one and get the stereo powered/active bookshelves
