i am planning to purchase a video card for my system. gonna use if for casual gaming & watching movies. budget is just under 3500.

system conf :

intel Pentim D 2.8 GHz
gigabyte G31M-ES2L
1GB DDR 2 533 ram
500 gb hdd
300 w vip power supply
lg 700E 17 inch CRT monitor

i need to know whether this configuration support msi geforce gt 220
& i have another option for 9500 gt 1gb ddr2 and ati 5450 these are under my budget.. any suggesstions on it..

^^ will support. the board have PCIe X 16 slot.

try these:
HD5550 1Gb DDR2/3
HD4650 1Gb DDR2/DDR3

keep the GT220 as last option. its really really slow.

Agreed with Sam. GT 220 is not at all any gaming card. So try to get a HD 5550 GDDR3 version of HD 4670 GDDR3 version if you want some gaming horse power.

guys i bought xfx readeon 4670 1gb ddr3 for just 3400rs. from lamingto rd..

it works like a charm..
