Broken In
I have this problem of having to press F4 everytime i switch on my system. It is not a problem as such but it is annoying...I googled for a solution and I found that the value "bootwin=1" must be specified in the MSDOS.SYS file for windows to be loaded by default in Operating Systems before XP. Unfortunately the file in XP is a blank one. I couldnt find anything to correct this problem in XP. Any Ideas?

Going green anyone?
I think MSDOS.SYS file is not required for winxp. However if it will help, this is the content of my MSDOS.SYS FILE --

[Paths]
WinDir=C:\WINDOWS
WinBootDir=C:\WINDOWS
HostWinBootDrv=C

[Options]
BootMulti=1
BootGUI=1
DoubleBuffer=1
AutoScan=0
WinVer=4.10.2222

;
;The following lines are required for compatibility with other programs.
;Do not remove them (MSDOS.SYS needs to be >1024 bytes).

As you can see it is a hangover from my previous win98se OS over which I installed winxp pro. I dont see a bootwin=1 either.

See if it helps. The problem could be some thing else also.
